Each year the Lehigh Valley Blues Fest attempts to put together a great event with get the best entertainers possible. As with any event like this, these things come with a price, and sometimes the price tag is substantial. Despite this, the festival exists on the generous participation of our sponsors, the volunteers, and the revenue generated by ticket sales and vending. The festival’s executive committee members are strictly part-time. After the bills are paid and a small amount of money is put away for promotion of the following year’s event, all of the remaining proceeds are donated to charity. The festival also makes donations to local youth programs, promoting community involvement in the programs that help shape the leaders of tomorrow. All of the donations made on behalf of the Lehigh Valley Blues Fest help give the event and its staff a sense of purpose. |
